England's national team is the most valuable team in Europe, as Gareth Southgate's side start their Nations League campaign with a new generation.
Southgate has overseen an excellent period for the national team as they reached a semi-final of a major tournament for the first time since 1996 at the 2018 World Cup. Last year they followed up by reaching the semi finals of the Nations League.
On Saturday they kick off the 2020-21 tournament against Iceland with a squad that includes the likes of Phil Foden, Mason Greenwood and Jack Grealish for the first time and, according to Transfermarkt, they have the most valuable squad in Europe.

According to the overall list Kylian Mbappe is the most valuable player in world football and Manchester City's Raheem Sterling is second, with no other Europeans in the top five.
For Southgate's side Sterling is followed by Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Trent Alexander-Arnold all worth over €100 million each.
The Three Lions current squad is currently missing Harry Maguire and James Maddison, who are both in the top 10 most valuable English players, whilst Bukayo Saka and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also in the top 20 but still in the under 21s.
Southgate will be hoping that having the talent available to him will turn into success next summer for the Euros and the Nations League finals.
