The transfer of many Arsenal players remain subject to intense transfer speculation including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian who's move away from the Emirates has taken another dramatic twist.

Alexis Sanchez continues to be heavily linked with a switch across the Premier League, with Manchester City hellbent on their pursuit.

They've reportedly offered Raheem Sterling and cash for his services, while also having a £50 million bid rejected.

And the Chilean ace isn't the only player seeking a move away from North London.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's future with Arsenal appears to be numbered with a transfer to Chelsea supposedly in the works after the Blues agreed a believed £40 million fee with Arsenal.

Despite the Premier League clubs striking a deal, fresh reports suggest the England international has turned down a move to the defending champions.

According to the BBC, the 24-year-old is wary of Chelsea operating him as a right wing back, with the reason for leaving Arsenal is to play a more central position.

Oxlade-Chamberlain now has his sight set on a move to Anfield instead.

Liverpool have by Thursday's transfer deadline day to submit a bid, though reports claim it will likely be below the clubs asking price and Chelsea's offer.

The Arsenal midfielder is entering his final year of his current contract, and if Arsenal fail to get him off their books by Thursday, he could potentially leave next summer on a free.

After starting for every game for the Gunners this season, including the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, Oxlade-Chamberlain's future is still unclear with deadline day looming.
