Joes Mourinho has reportedly identified Tottenham's key areas to strengthen over the next two transfer windows, and is keeping tabs on one of his former Real Madrid charges as a result.
Spurs started the season strongly and looked like title contenders, but have since tailed off and are now seventh in the Premier League. Squad depth is possibly an issue with such a busy schedule this campaign.
As a result, Mourinho has been assessing what his team needs from the upcoming transfer windows, according to The Evening Standard.

One of the areas he has identified is centre-back, and he is apparently looking for someone in the 'Thiago Silva mould' to bring some more experience to the area - despite already having the highly experienced Toby Alderweireld for that area.
However, we all know how much Mourinho loves a veteran, and according to the report he is keeping tabs on his former captain Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid.
The 34-year-old has been attracting interest as his contract at the Bernabeu comes to an end in the summer, and his age, high wages, and football clubs' Covid-hit finances mean that his future is up in the air.

Ramos and Mourinho enjoyed two successful seasons together at Real Madrid before a third campaign marred by infighting before the Portuguese left acrimoniously in 2013.
Since then Mourinho has had mixed results in spells at Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham, while Ramos has continued to be a key part of the furniture at Real Madrid.
Tottenham fans would certainly love to see Ramos in north London, while admitting that it may not be that likely...
