Chelsea fans are worrying that Diego Costa's time at the club is almost up after the Spanish striker was surprisingly left out of Antonio Conte's squad for their International Champions Cup clash with Liverpool this morning. Then came his latest Instagram post.
There's been no official explanation for Costa's lack of involvement, but he was in attendance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to watch.
Following Chelsea's 1-0 win over Liverpool, thanks to Gary Cahill's first-half header, the former Atletico Madrid striker took to Instagram to post a picture and caption that has fans worrying he's on his way out of the club.

Costa shared a picture alongside Kennedy, Willian, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro with the caption: "Thank you very much for all my friends!!!"
And fans are seeing that, along with his absence from the squad, and putting two and two together to think Costa is on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
It is odd that Costa wasn't involved earlier despite being fit and able to - and this Instagram post just adds to speculation that Atletico Madrid want to re-sign the striker who scored 64 goals for the club in a three-year spell there.

However it's more likely that Costa's English just isn't that great, still better than my Portuguese by a long way and he's just grateful for his mates. But who knows.
