Due to a 'lack of progress' during his time at Arsenal, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been put up for sale by Arsene Wenger.
The former Southampton youngster arrived at the Emirates for £12m five years ago but the Gunners are now ready to cut their losses after Chamberlain failed to develop in the way the club would have hoped.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has failed to hold down a regular place in Wenger's starting XI since his move from St.Mary's and has also struggled with injuries. He has made 149 appearances for the Gunners in his five years with the club and has two years remaining on his current contract.
It is believed that if Arsenal receive a bid in excess of the £12m they paid for Chamberlain they will allow him to leave this Summer. West Ham are believed to be interested in the midfielder.
