Manchester United Set Their Sights On The New Neymar

The Brazilian starlet is attracting plenty of interest from around Europe.

Brazil's conveyor belt of footballing prodigy's has produced another rising star with Europe's elite monitoring his progress.

Typically, the Brazilian attacker is being dubbed as 'The New Neymar.' Introducing Yuri Alberto.

The 16-year-old has rose to prominence following his exploits in Brazil with Santos. He bagged a remarkable 51 goals from just 35 youth games, last season.

As a result of his heroics, he's signed a professional contract with Santos.

But the teenage sensation is already garnering plenty of attention from the Premier League as well as Europe.

Manchester United are believed to be keeping an eye on his progress not to mention Arsenal. Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger are reportedly interested in signing Alberto per 101 Great Goals.

But the pair of Premier League sides also face fierce competition from Serie A outfits AS Roma and Inter Milan.

The player even admitted it would be a dream to ply his trade in Italy.

"It's my dream to play for a big Italian club and experience Serie A," he said via Football Italia.

"I've been at Santos since I was 13. Now I want to play the Under-20 tournament with Santos and that'll be my last important competition before being called up for Brazil," he added.

Speaking about the rampant talks, Alberto said: "It's marvelous to know that people are following my progress from so far away. I heard talk of great clubs observing me and without doubt it is my dream one day to find success abroad."
