Coronavirus is expected to change the transfer market this summer but it hasn't stopped Kylian Mbappe being worth nearly €260 million.

The knock on effect of the virus leading to games being played behind closed doors will likely lead to clubs having less to spend and transfer values coming down.

However that doesn't mean the best in the world are going to be sold for next to nothing. According to the CIES Football Observatory's algorithm, Mbappe is still worth €259.2 million, making him the most expensive player in the world.

Behind the Frenchman the next four most highly valued players are English and members of Gareth Southgate's squad make up five of the top 10 spots.

The values are worked out based on several factors, including, age, performance, how long is left on a player's contract and the 'selling' clubs financial status.

With Mbappe's deal running for another three years and him being a 21-year-old World Cup winner, and playing for one of the richest clubs in the world, it's no surprise he is the most valuable player in the world.

His value also compared with the €220 million that PSG spent on his teammate Neymar in 2017, which smashed the previous transfer record.

The former Monaco forward has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the future but it's not known whether Los Blancos will try to bring him to the Bernabeu this summer.

Third placed Jadon Sancho has also been linked with a move away from his club with Manchester United most significantly linked with the Borussia Dortmund winger.

Ninth placed Alphonso Davies has wowed fans since Bundesliga returned a few weeks ago and the Bayern Munich full is the youngest player in the top 20.

The man above him, Antoine Griezmann, is the oldest player in the top 20 at 29-years-old. He's unlikely to leave Barcelona in the near future but admitted recently he wants to move to the MLS at some point.

Manchester City's Ederson is the most valuable defender at €86.8 million, Matthijs de Ligt tops the defenders at €104.7 million, Bruno Fernandes, who only joined Manchester United in January, tops the midfielders at €104.9 million and Mbappe is obviously the most expensive forward.

How much do you think Mbappe would sell for if he moved this summer?
