Jose Mourinho Adds One Of Europe's Top Prospects To His Christmas List

They'll be plenty of football fans assuming that Jose Mourinho will only be finding lumps of coal in his Christmas presents on Monday but that hasn't stopped the Manchester United manager adding a name to his January wanted list.

It might be the most wonderful time of the year but for football managers around the globe it's not deciding what they want for Christmas that will cause them issues but who they want to sign in January.

For Jose Mourinho things are going pretty well at Old Trafford, despite what happened in the Carabao Cup in midweek, but Manchester United have a long way to go if they're to catch Manchester City.

United have recently been linked with signing a left-back, with Danny Rose the obvious choice, and a winger and now there's a new name on the attacking possibilities.

According to Yahoo Sports Ajax's Justin Kluivert, son of legendary striker for the Dutch side Partick, is the latest name on Mourinho's shortlist as he hopes to give himself more squad depth on the wings.

Just 18 the teenager has been impressing in the Eredivisie this term having scored four goals and assisted two in just 10 league starts, already doubling his goal tally from last season in similar appearances.

The teenager has just 18 months left on his contract and so far his current team have failed to get him to agree to sign a new deal and his agent is Mino Raiola who also represents Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Old Trafford.

Kluivert has long been of interest to Mourinho and the former Real Madrid manager spoke to the youngster following United's Europa League final win over Ajax in May, reportedly telling the player that he would sign him next season.

Monaco's Thomas Lemar, Bordeaux's Malcolm and Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic are the other players that Mourinho could try to sign in attempt to create more goals for his side.
