Paul Pogba has released a video of himself playing basketball while he's rehabbing his injury.
The Manchester United star was supposedly close to joining Real Madrid or Juventus last summer and was only convinced by his current manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to stay.

However, United seem to be ready to cut ties as well after Pogba released a video of him playing Basketball with NBA star, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat. Pogba was supposed to be rehabbing his ankle which has kept him out of the United team since September.
According to Spanish Publication COPE, Solskjaer has been adamant on not selling the player but is now ready to in the January transfer window. Manchester United supposedly value the Frenchman at nearly £150 million, a figure Real Madrid couldn't mach in the summer.
Real Madrid Manager, Zinedine Zidane, has been a long-time admirer of Pogba and desperately wanted him in the Summer, much to the dismay of Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez.

However, Pogba is trying to force his way to Real Madrid in January by not playing for United after the Ankle injury. Two of the sources for COPE are supposedly "close to the locker room" and believe that Pogba wants to leave as soon as the January window is open.
Pogba was linked with Juventus and Real Madrid in the Summer but both teams couldn't pay the £150 Million United demanded and tried to appease to United via player trades, which United ultimately rejected.

Real are currently second in La Liga, only behind Barcelona on goal difference and their current form is down to the consistency of their midfield. Federico Valverde has been a stand-out performer for Real Madrid, bringing this transfer into question overall.
