Antoine Griezmann's potential move to Manchester United is likely to be one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer and one man is trying his utmost to get him to move to Old Trafford.
Last summer Jose Mourinho wanted four players to strengthen the Manchester United team he inherited from Louis van Gaal, a striker, a winger, a central midfielder and a centre back.
Three of the players were signed before the season began but for pretty much the entirety of the summer they chased Paul Pogba as the Frenchman enjoyed the sun of America.

They eventually landed the Juventus midfielder for a record ยฃ89 million fee. Since then he has split opinion but hasn't quite reached the peaks United fans would have been hoping for,
This season United look hell bent on signing Antoine Griezmann, Pogba's best mate on international duty, to boost their attack.
And according to the Telegraph today Pogba has been texting his mate to try and convince him to move to Manchester by telling him the weather isn't as bad as everyone makes out.

Speaking about a possible move away from Atletico Madrid the striker said in February, "Germany, the league does not attract me much. France, not for the moment. And England, I have a lot of doubts about my private life. Everything like rain, bad weather ... I need to feel happy outside."
That statement, a long with other comments about enjoying life in Spain, were met with messages from his countryman that the weather in Manchester isn't that bad.
Manchester is best known for its two football clubs, Oasis and the rain! (Before anyone jumps down my throat I am a Mancunian so it's okay for me to say!)

The report in the newspaper today reckons that United are going to activate the release clause on Griezmann's contract in the summer.
That means paying a similar fee to the one that brought Pogba back to the Premier League and avoid long negotiations with Atleti.
However they still have to convince the 25 year old to leave for Manchester and Mourinho will keep his eye on other targets until he can get the move over the line.
It's due to be really sunny in Manchester next week so Griezmann can expect some picture messages from his mate!
