Alexis Sanchez potential move from Arsenal is one of the summer's enduring 'sagas' and it's still not known if he'll leave. There is a new contender to his signing and they want to create a super pairing upfront.

Arsenal broke their transfer record earlier this week when they finally confirmed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon. It's the kind of signing you could argue will make the Gunners title contenders again, if you didn't know they'll surely find a way to mess it up.

It's undoubtedly the most exciting the North London side have made in a while and possibly even more exciting than when they signed Alexis Sanchez, who was second choice at Barcelona when he joined.

Sanchez though is still the man with the giant question mark hanging over his head, not literally because that would be weird, and whether or not he'll stay at the Emirates all summer or move on.

With only one year left on his contract at Arsenal it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see him leave this summer rather than on a free next year but Arsenal won't settle for anything less than £50 million according to reports.

With Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Chelsea all previously linked with moves Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport are now reporting that Inter Milan are the latest team to show interest.

According to the infamous pink sports newspaper Luciano Spalletti's side want to pair Sanchez with Mauro Icardi in what could be as strong a strike partnership as anything in Italy.

The Chilean forward has reportedly asked for £400k-a-week to stay with the Gunners, who missed out on Champions League football for next season after finishing fifth in the league, but it's not known if a team would have to match that in order to sign him.

Inter are also out of the Champions League for next term and the Nerazzurri will be hoping to get back up near the top of Serie A which has been dominated by Juventus since the two Milan sides fell away.

AC have been busy spending big this summer and their San Siro partners will hope they don't get away from them.

Could Sanchez end up back in Italy?
