It's not the first time Crystal Palace have been linked with a Barcelona player, and fresh reports suggest the Premier League side are eyeing up another talent from Catalonia.

After arriving in the summer, Frank de Boer has only drafted in three new players with two of the signings loan deals.

Palace snapped up Jairo Riedewald from Ajax for an undisclosed fee, while also securing the services of Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Manchester United's Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan.

But two defeats from two Premier League games has de Boer back to the drawing board. And reports claim that the Dutch boss will seek reinforcement from the La Liga.

Via Sky Sports, Palace are interested in Barcelona's Munir El Haddadi.

The striker is attracting interest from around Europe as well as the Premier League.

Palace will have to fend off competition from home and abroad if they want to sign the talented 21-year-old.

Southampton and West Ham are also reportedly keeping an eye on the player not to mention Sampdoria, Deportivo La Coruna and Alaves.

The La Masia product enjoyed a campaign on loan in the La Liga last season with Valencia. He featured in 32 league goals, weighing in with six goals.

Munir plied his trade with the Barcelona B side from 2013-15. Though broke into the full team in the 2014/15 season.

He's played 26 league games across three seasons for Barcelona, scoring four goals.

But with first-team opportunities hard to come by, the Spanish international is plotting a move away.

Palace are set to follow up their initial interest by tabling an offer in the region of £12 million.

Munir is courting plenty of attention and has no shortage of suitors with sides from the top flight of England, Spain and Italy all eyeing him up.
