Barcelona may have won the league and cup double in Spain last season but having failed in Europe Luis Enrique has set about improving his already rather good squad and today announced the third addition of the summer.
Enrique already has Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique et al at his disposal and already this summer has added former Lyon centre back Samuel Umtiti to the team after impressing in the Euros and brought Denis Suarez back from Villarreal to add to his incredible squad.
And now they've added former PSG left-back Lucas Digne to the defence paying around £14 million for the 22 year old full-back who spent last season on loan with AS Roma in Serie A after being unable to get ahead of Maxwell in the pecking order in the French capital.
Liverpool had also been rumoured with signing Digne, who will compete with Jordi Alba for the left-back position for the Catalan side, but the Premier League club never actually made an approach for the player.

The Frenchman was part of the Euros squad that reached the final in Paris only to lose to Portugal and the player created 26 chances for his teammates last season and came away with three assists from his 33 league appearances.
