Viktor Gyokeres' future has taken a twist as the Sporting CP star has made his feelings clear on a blockbuster transfer.

Gyokeres, who joined Sporting from Coventry City, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following his goal-scoring exploits this season.

He has scored an impressive 37 goals in just 39 games across all competitions, having smashed home 43 goals last season.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are thought to be interested in signing Gyokeres when the summer transfer window reopens.

And the Premier League quartet have received a boost in their pursuit of the 26-year-old after the latest on his transfer emerged in a stunning report.

According to Record, Gyokeres has expressed his desire to LEAVE Sporting this summer.

The Portuguese outlet led coverage of his desire with the headline 'Exit in glory', revealing his aim to fulfilling the objective of clinching another domestic title with Sporting, who currently sit at the top of the league.

They have played one more game than second-placed Benfica, who are three points behind the league leaders.

Third-placed Porto are also in the thick of the action as they are six points adrift of Sporting.

Gyokeres, who was on Brighton's books at the start of his professional career, moved to Sporting for an initial £17.5 million in the summer of 2023.

He excelled in the Championship, with his reputation growing following his ultra-prolific spell with Sporting.

He has 80 goals to his name since completing the move to Portugal.

But it appears this campaign will be his last season at Sporting, with a move back to England thought to be on the cards.
