Arsenal and Manchester United have been told exactly what they have to pay to sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres this summer.
It's only been weeks since the transfer window opened for the second time this summer, but it is already clear that the future of Sporting star Gyokeres could be the biggest story of the window.
Having scored 54 goals in 52 appearances this season, the 27-year-old is one of the most in demand forwards in the world, attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
As it stands, Sporting are yet to accept an official bid from a club for Gyokeres, as the Swedish international are currently locked in discussions with Sporting president Frederico Varandas and other club officials about a potential transfer fee.

But now, it appears that Arsenal and United may finally know how much they will need to pay if they are to secure Gyokeres' signature.

It was initially believed that Gyokeres would be available for a fee of €60million plus €10m (£51.44m + £8,57m), after the striker and his agent reportedly agreed this fee with Sporting ahead of the window.
But Varandas later confirmed in several interviews that this would not be the case, claiming that Gyokeres was refusing to play for the club again in an attempt to force a move.

It has also been revealed that Gyokeres has a €100 million (£85.1m) release clause in his contract, but Sporting would be willing to sell him for a lower amount than this.
However, a new report from Portuguese sports newspaper A BOLA has revealed that Gyokeres actually has another release clause within his contract, one that could see him leave for as little as €60m.
The outlet claims that during negotiations for the £20m deal that saw Gyokeres join Sporting from Coventry City two years ago, his agent Hasan Cetinkaya secured a deal that would see him earn 10% of the value of any rejected offer above €60m.

In theory, this could force Sporting to accept any offer made that is offer the €60m price tag that they are so eager to avoid.
But, to combat this possibility, the Portuguese side have reportedly told Cetinkaya directly that if he decides to activate this clause in Gyokeres' contract, then they will not allow the player to leave the club unless the full €100m release clause is met.
If Cetinkaya decides against activating the clause, then it is believed that Sporting would allow tge striker to leave for a fee of €80m (£68.6m).
