Five Manchester City players are reportedly thinking of leaving the club with one potential exit worrying manager Pep Guardiola the most.

Over the years, Guardiola has attracted some of football’s biggest talents to the Etihad club due to their success.

City are on track to win a domestic double this season as they lead the Premier League title race and are also in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been claimed that some of City’s first-team stars are thinking about moving away.

As reported by Spanish news outlet Nacional, via Football 365, five City players are thinking about leaving in the summer.

Jack Grealish, Stefan Ortega, Kalvin Phillips, Bernardo Silva and Kevin de Bruyne were the five players mentioned in the report.

It is believed that Grealish has ‘offers to leave’ with many Premier League clubs reportedly interested in the England international.

Meanwhile, Ortega has been left frustrated by his lack of game time due to Ederson being the undisputed number one at City.

Phillips is said to be surplus to requirements and his torrid loan spell at West Ham United will not help his course.

Portuguese midfielder Silva is reportedly attracting interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain, with the 29-year-old believed to have a release clause of £50 million in his contract.

Lastly, the uncertainty surrounding De Bruyne’s future is the one that is reportedly worrying Guardiola the most.

The report states: “He is free in 2025, and has had calls to leave Manchester, particularly from Saudi Arabia.

“Pep wants him to stay, but the Belgian is studying his options.”

This week, Guardiola’s future at the club was also plunged into doubt with Spanish journalist Jorge Picon claiming City are looking ahead and "already planning for a future without Guardiola”.

He wrote on social media: “Pessimism is growing regarding the coach's continuity from 2025, when his contract ends.

“And among the candidates to replace him, a coach from 'the house': Michel.”
