With Spain and England set to go head-to-head in the final, Kane and Olmo will have the chance to win the Golden Boot.

Spanish star Olmo’s future has also been in the news in recent weeks.

It has previously been reported that the 26-year-old has a release clause of £50.5 million in his RB Leipzig contract, which is set to expire on July 20.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Premier League champions City are looking to close the deal to sign the Spaniard before next Tuesday.

Speaking about his future, Olmo said to El Larguero, as per the Daily Mirror: “Clause until July 20? Yes, if clubs want me, they know what they can do. There’s time until July 20 for the clause otherwise later it’d be tough negotiations! I’m under contract at Leipzig and I want to win titles.

“I'm not worried. I have my people who take care of everything. I have too much to do with the Euros to think about other things. Especially now with the final ahead. I don't have anything else on my mind.”

He added: “The people I trust already know my opinion and what I want to do. That's the only thing that matters. All I want is to win and keep winning. I said that when I renewed my contract. They wanted to make a winning project and that is why I renewed. I want to win titles.

“Spain-England is a Euro final through and through. We have always said that to win you have to face the best. We have faced them all and we have won. Now it is England's turn.”
