Barcelona are reportedly open to selling a highly rated player at the right price, with Manchester City, Arsenal and European champions Paris Saint-Germain circling ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite both Arsenal and Manchester City’s 2025/26 campaigns still hanging in the balance — with Mikel Arteta’s side favourites for the Premier League while also competing in the FA Cup and Champions League — both clubs are already looking ahead to next season and the summer transfer window.
As reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Dani Olmo could be playing his football in England or France next season, with City reportedly having already put forward an offer of £75 million for the Barcelona attacking midfielder. Pep Guardiola is said to view him as a like-for-like replacement for Bernardo Silva.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old, who has registered eight goals and seven assists in 38 appearances for the La Liga champions this term, may be tempted to reunite with former Spain head coach and current PSG boss Luis Enrique. The pair previously built a close relationship while working together with the Spanish national team.

Arteta’s Arsenal are also said to be monitoring the player’s situation closely, while Saudi side Al-Qadsiah are keeping tabs on the Spaniard despite his importance to Barcelona.
Despite links with a move away from Catalonia, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has made it clear he values Olmo highly, while the player remains committed to the club.
However, if an appropriate offer is tabled, given Barcelona’s precarious financial position, the club may be forced to sell Olmo, who is contracted until 2030 and earns €269,231 per week (£233,000).
Fichajes reports that the player has a €580 million (£505 million) release clause in his contract, although this does not necessarily mean he will be prevented from leaving for less.
As reported by MARCA earlier this week, Olmo has “no intention of leaving the club” and remains “happy” despite several registration and injury issues since he arrived from RB Leipzig in 2024.
Sporting director Deco also thinks highly of Olmo and would prefer to avoid a sale.
Barcelona face Atlético Madrid away on 4 April.
