Liverpool has reportedly made a list of potential candidates who could replace Fabinho at Anfield next season.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson had been linked to a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.

Following in the wake of the news, it’s also been reported that Fabinho is close to an Anfield exit.

As per BBC, The Reds received an offer from Al Ittihad for the Brazilian midfielder on Friday, which has resulted in the 29-year-old being removed from the current 32-man Germany party.

Despite Fabinho’s Saudi Pro League move not yet being concrete, it’s alleged that Jurgen Klopp and co. have already detailed the four players who could replace him.

As per MailSport, these four players are; Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips, Ryan Gravenberch, Belgian international Romeo Lavia and reported Manchester United target, Sofyan Amrabat.

Furthermore, Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy backed up the sites claim by tweeting: “Liverpool had been assessing longer-term candidates to replace Fabinho.

“Profile might shift as they'll require an immediate starter. Among the names mooted have been Sofyan Amrabat, Ryan Gravenberch, Kalvin Phillips and Romeo Lavia.”

She also went on to state that Moises Caicedo was, “not on their list.”

Since the news hit social media, fans have come out in their droves to debate the list allegedly compiled by bosses.

One fan wrote: “Really, really hope that list of four names Liverpool have clearly briefed to reporters isn’t an accurate representation of who they’re actually looking at.

“Surely they’ve got to have other, better targets that they’re working on under the radar.”

A second said: “Kalvin Phillips seems the logical choice for me with him being British, although Man City will no doubt be reluctant to sell to their closest rivals.”

A Sky Sports reporter said Caicedo is not on Liverpool's list.

Another tweeted: “Probably names being thrown out to disguise the true target Florentino Luis (el lobo)”

Elsewhere, another Twitter user has speculated that the potential candidates to replace Fabinho may soon change.

They tweeted: “Surely this list will change with an unexpected £40m landing in the bank, likely paid in full (sic) upfront. The money being talked about for Lavia plus £40m makes Caicedo an option now surely?”
