Brentford have reportedly accepted a bid for Ivan Toney, after a busy transfer window for the striker.

Toney has been linked with several clubs throughout the Premier League and abroad during the 2024/25 summer transfer window.

The star striker has yet to feature for Brentford this season, as the London club expected several offers to come in on deadline day.

And now his future has seemingly been revealed.

According to multiple sources, Brentford have accepted a £40million bid for Toney from Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli.

The 28-year-old is currently on his way to complete his medical for the move in London.

Toney has been a target for the Saudi club throughout the window after they reportedly offered an incredible wage package to bring him to the club.

And after the Englishman reportedly accepted the offer, which will see him earn €18m a year, all that was left was for Al Ahli to agree a deal with Brentford.

However, doubt was cast over Toney's deal with Al Ahli as it was recently revealed that he had attracted interest from Chelsea, giving him the option to stay within the Premier League.

"I can say that Ivan will not play on Saturday," confirmed Brentford boss Thomas Frank on Thursday ahead of the weekend match with Southampton.

“Ivan is training well, and in good spirits, and I’m happy to (answer) more questions about Ivan the next time we are sitting here.”

Al Ahli have been extremely busy in the early hours of deadline day, having also reportedly agreed a deal with Napoli for Victor Osimhen.

According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nigerian striker has been offered a three-year contract with the Saudi side.

Like Toney, he will be offered incredible wages believed to be worth around £33.6m, with Napoli set to earn £67.3m plus add-ons.

Chelsea also attempted to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge, but failed to agree on a deal with Napoli.

Therefore, the striker could undergo his medical for the move to Al-Ahli on Friday.

Should both Toney and Osimhen join the Saudi club on deadline day, they will be part of an already impressive front line that includes Premier League greats Roberto Firmino and Riyad Mahrez.
