Bruno Fernandes had a record-breaking season for Manchester United in the Premier League last year, recording the most assists for any player in a single season by providing 21 goals.
The Portuguese international has been an integral player for the Red Devils since he made the move to Old Trafford in January 2020, as he has been named Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year on five occasions.
While it may have been an obvious belief that Michael Carrick would want the 2026 Premier League Player of the Year at Old Trafford for the upcoming campaign, that did not stop several reports linking him to an exit from Manchester.
Galatasaray, Juventus, and AC Milan were all believed to be interested in bringing Fernandes to their respective clubs, seeing him as an integral piece to them winning silverware.

As these clubs were all preparing bids for the Man United captain, the English club have now made their position clear on his future.
As reported by the BBC, United are not willing to sell the 31-year-old at any price this summer.
Within the report it has suggested that the club have taken this stance due to their actions last summer regarding the future of Fernandes, as they were believed to have given the Portuguese international the choice over whether to accept the mammoth offer put to him by Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal.
That was a move that is said to have 'hurt' the 31-year-old, so United are being sure not to make the same mistake again regarding their captain.
At the time of writing, Fernandes only has a year left on his current deal with an option for an additional season, and it is believed he would like to remain at Old Trafford; however, no agreement over an extension has occurred.
The reason behind this no-sell stance from Man United being made clear is because it has been reported in the Telegraph that Galatasaray are preparing to launch a substantial bid to lure Fernandes to Turkiye.
According to the report, the Turkish champions are prepared to offer double the wages that the Portuguese international is earning at Old Trafford at present.
They are also willing to table a relatively low offer of £43 million to Man United for the player, due to his contract expiring next summer.
While this may be an incredible offer from Galatasaray for the Man United captain, at least in terms of salary, the stance of the Red Devils should mean fans will see Fernandes lead the team out against Hull City this Saturday in the club’s opening fixture of the Premier League season.
