Kylian Mbappe is 'willing to join' Arsenal thanks to one player

Kylian Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint Germain has been thrown into chaos.

Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe is reportedly willing to join Arsenal due to one player.

Over the last few seasons, Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes club.

However, the Frenchman made a last-minute U-turn back in 2022 to reject a move to Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid and ended up signing a new deal with PSG.

Last month, it was reported that Liverpool have become the most credible and dangerous candidate for PSG regarding Mbappe’s future.

However, it has since been widely reported that Mbappe is likely to move to Spain at the end of the 23/24 season.

According to The Independent, Mbappe would ‘willingly join’ Arsenal.

The report states: “The repeat Ligue 1 champions still endured what they felt was a lack of loyalty when Mbappe’s wider circle reached out to Liverpool last year, but there was no offer from the Anfield hierarchy. They just didn’t want him that badly to break their entire financial strategy. It’s similar with Arsenal, who Mbappe would willingly join.

“That is in part a question of legacy, too, since it appeals to the player to follow Thierry Henry. This appreciation for history and legends had been the sort of thinking that once guided his career plan.”

Speaking about his future in January, Mbappe said: “Mbappe said: “First of all, I am very, very, very motivated for this year. It is very important. As I said, we have titles to chase and we've already won one, so that's already done. After that, no, I haven't made a decision yet.

“In any case, with the agreement I made with the president this summer, it does not matter what he decides. We manage to protect all parties and preserve the serenity of the club for the challenges that lie ahead, which continues to be the most important thing.”

He continued: “So we'll say it's secondary. I think it was at the end of May 2022 because I didn't know until May. But if I know what I want to do, why drag it out? It just doesn't make sense.”
