Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly targeting Everton duo Richarlison and Anthony Gordon in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Everton are expecting bids to be made for their players as early as the next few days.

Brazilian Richarlison is thought to have been on Spurs’ radar since he was playing at Watford, Spurs see Richarlison as major competitions for the club’s current front line. And is viewed as a potential long term replacement for Harry Kane.

Richarlison joined Everton from Watford back in 2018 in a deal worth an initial £35 million, with the potential to rise to £50 million. Since he joined the club, the fiery Brazilian has established himself as one of the best players of his position within the Premier League.

He was an integral part of Frank Lampard’s side as they narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight last season. In total, Richarlison has made 152 appearances for Everton, scoring 53 goals.

Young winger Gordon is seen by Spurs as a talented player for the future.

Everton meanwhile are looking to get one of Spurs’ players themselves, with the Toffees keeping a close eye on English midfielder Harry Winks. Winks has reportedly been told by Spurs that he will be allowed to discuss a future away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs have already completed the signings of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma and they are not looking to stop their spending as manager Antonio Conte looks to build a squad capable of cementing his team amongst the top four.

However, they will face stiff competition from Chelsea for the signature of Richarlison. Thomas Tuchel is looking to an attacker as a replacement for Inter Milan bound Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku’s second spell at Stamford Bridge has been bitterly disappointing and a return to Italy is on the cards for the Belgian front man.

And with only Timo Werner and Kai Havertz left as the senior strikers, Tuchel is in the market to add to his attacking options.

Apart from Richarlison, Chelsea are thought to be interested in Manchester City’s England winger Raheem Sterling and Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, who will soon be out of contract.

Away from their attack, Chelsea are always looking to strengthen their defence after losing Anotnio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, they are keen to bring in City defender Nathan Ake who came through the ranks at the Stamford Bridge club.

The race is on for the signature of Richarlison, who will come out on top? Only time will tell.
