Manchester City have beaten fierce competition from the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich to be named the best team in world football right now.
But City, who won the League Cup, still have the chance to add further silverware to their season as they resume their Champions League campaign this month.

FiveThirtyEight has now revealed that City remain top of their worldwide rankings for football teams.
City were awarded an SPI score of 95.6, putting them firmly ahead of their competition from around the world.
German champions Bayern finished second with a 94.1 SPI score, while Liverpool came third with 91.1.
