From Kylian Mbappe to Lionel Messi, Transfermarkt has revealed its valuation behind some of the biggest football stars in the world.

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has been named as the most valuable player in world football ahead of fellow teammate Neymar.

The 21-year-old French forward has become one of Europe's most sought-after young talents after bursting onto the scene at Monaco.

And Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid, became the second most expensive player in history after PSG splashed out around £166m to sign him.

Transfermarkt has named Mbappe top of the list for the most valuable players currently active in world football with a £162m price tag.

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling finished behind Mbappe in joint-second place with a £115.2m valuation.

Neymar, who holds the current world-record transfer of £200m, also received a £115.2m value alongside Sterling.
