Team Ronaldinho Vs Team Roberto Carlos Was A Legendary Spectacle

Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos called in all the stars for "the beautiful game" exhibition game.

Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos put on one of the most star-studded charity games in history on Saturday night.

DRV PNK Stadium, home of David Beckham's MLS franchise Inter Miami, played host to an absolute goalfest featuring greats from past and present.

Ronaldinho had Rene Higuita, Rafael Marquez and Patrick Kluivert in his side, but was also able to use his connections and status to call upon current players Paul Pogba, Paulo Dybala, Blaise Matuidi and Vinicius Jr - fresh from scoring the winner in the Champions League final in Paris.

Sadly Carlos didn't pick anyone from Bull in the Barne United, the Sunday League outfit he turned out for earlier this year, but he assembled quite the squad.

Compatriots Cafu and Rivaldo were in, while Carlos also drafted in Alphonso Davies, Eder Militao, Radamel Falcao, Arturo Vidal and Nani.

Aptly called 'The Beautiful Game' by R10 & RC3, the match featured a staggering 22 goals and some glorious moments.

Ronaldinho opened the scoring seven minutes in but it was Carlos' side who led 8-5 at half-time.

Samba stars of past and present linked up superbly as Ronaldinho laid on an assist for Vinicius, who celebrated by performing his idol's trademark dance.

Vinicius ran the show and switched sides at half-time to play for Carlos' men, finding the net for both teams.

Rivaldo, Cafu and Dybala were all on target and yet the most surprising goalscorer was Steve Nash, NBA icon and current Brooklyn Nets coach.

In the end, Carlos and his troops emerged victorious with a 12-10 win and the extended highlights make for very enjoyable viewing.
