No one has needed much convincing of Mbappe's talent since he burst on the scene for Monaco in the Champions League in 2017, but on Tuesday he once again showed just how good he is.
It was Lionel Messi who controversially opened the scoring from the penalty spot but after that the night belonged to Paris and Mbappe.
The Frenchman scored the equaliser on 32 minutes, showing quick feet and striking a brilliant shot past Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with the two sides going into the break level.
Mbappe made it 2-1 in the 65th minute when Gerrard Pique failed to clear from Alessandro Florenzi's cross. The 22-year-old blasted the ball home from inside the area to put Mauricio Pochettino's side ahead.
With just five minutes left the World Cup winner rounded off his hat-trick as he brilliantly finished off a counter attack from the visiting side.

It's yet another hammering Barcelona have taken in the Champions League, following big losses to Roma, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in recent years.
They famously came back against PSG in the last 16 in 2017, with Barca winning the second leg 6-1 to go through, but on current form that looks unlikely.
In fact with Mbappe in this mood, it might be 6-1 next time out, but to PSG.
