Sergio Ramos Organises Team Meal, Tells The Players What He Expects Of Them

Sergio Ramos certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, especially when it comes to Liverpool fans, but the Real Madrid captain proved why he wears the armband at the Bernabeu by taking his colleagues for dinner.

If you're a Liverpool fan there's a very good chance you're going to disagree with what I'm about to say, you might not even have to be a Liverpool fan...Sergio Ramos is a bloody brilliant footballer and the kind of sh*thouse we should all want in our team.

Look I know that's not a popular opinion around Anfield but if Sergio Ramos was on your team then you'd certainly love him, it's just when he's an opponent that you find yourself hating him.

Of course fans of the Reds specifically don't like the Spain international after he was involved in Mo Salah's injury in the Champions League final last May, essentially ending Jurgen Klopp's side's hopes of winning.

The Premier League side will certainly be happy to see Los Blancos struggling in La Liga this season whilst they top the league in England.

Ramos though isn't too worried about the current situation. He took his teammates to dinner two days ago and according to El Confidencial he told them, "No one gets off the ship here. We can still win the Champions League and the Cup. We are on schedule."

Keylor Navas, Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale were the only teammates who were absent from the morale boosting meal that Ramos organised himself.

The 32 year old wasn't the only senior player who was vocal though with left back Marcelo also reported to have spoken at dinner in order to rally the troops.

Also part of the conversation was the Real captain backing Isco with the midfielder struggling to get into Santiago Solari's team.

Real take on Ajax in the next round of the Champions League as they attempt to become the first side to win four Champions League titles in a row.

They knocked Girona out of the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey but they sit 10 points behind rivals Barcelona in La Liga.

Can Ramos rally his team to win a league double?
