Impressive stuff from the German

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil broke one of his personal records yesterday in Arsenal's 4-1 drubbing of Hull City at the KCOM Stadium.

While the German didn't have his normal influence on the game; missing virtually an open goal in the first half, he did not shirk his playmaking abilities - evidenced in the new record that he broke.

The 27-year old completed an incredible 104 passes (95% accuracy) in the game against Hull, edging out his previous Premier League record set in his early days at the club in 2013.

Arsenal moved up to third in the Premier League following the win against Hull, with a double from Alexis Sanchez, a goal from Theo Walcott and a thunderous strike from new signing Granit Xhaka giving the Gunners their third Premier League win of the season.

Former Real Madrid man Ozil often comes under criticism by rival fans but there's no denying his obvious qualities on the ball.
