What...A...Ball

Fucking hell fire.

As if the FA Cup semi-final between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur hadn't produced enough moments of quality in the opening 45 minutes, the second half started with a bang thanks to the right foot of Christian Eriksen.

Willian had twice given Chelsea the lead in the first half, first via a free kick and then from the penalty spot, but Antonio Conte's men would be pegged back for a second time by Dele Alli. Although all the credit for Alli's equaliser should go to the great Dane.

Receiving the ball in midfield, roughly 45 yards from goal, the Spurs play maker didn't seem to have many obvious options to choose from.

However, Eriksen had Dele Alli in his sights, yet the England international didn't seem reachable from where the Dane was in relation to him.

Or so we all thought.

Eriksen took one look and, with a swing of his right leg, expertly guided the most mercurial pass round the Chelsea defence and onto the outstretched left foot of Alli, who did the rest by steering his finish into the roof of the net.

Needless to say, the pass, which may just be the assist of the season (it'll certainly take something very special to beat it) generated a passionate reaction on social media.

With Eden Hazard just putting Chelsea back into the lead at 3-2, has Eriksen got another world cass assist left in him today to save Spurs' FA Cup dreams?
