Everyone is talking about Rio Ferdinand's Tweet from two years ago after his insight on the England team was fulfilled during their game on Sunday.

England rebounded from their 1-0 defeat to Germany by securing three World Cup qualifying points against Lithuania.

Goals from the returning Jermain Defoe and Jamie Vardy ensured the sides unbeaten start as they seek to earn a spot in Russia.

But ahead of the internationals, Gareth Southgate called up Michael Keane who has been consistently churning out impressive performances for Burnley in the Premier League.

Against Germany, he looked assured and steady as he took up a place in Southgate's experimental 3-man back-line which was duly noted by the boss who subsequently started him at Wembley.

Along with Manchester City's John Stones and Spurs' Eric Dier. This is where Ferdinand comes into the mix.

The former England international identified the trio of players back in 2015, naming them the best three young center-backs in the country.
