New angle of Cristiano Ronaldo's incredible goal for Al Nassr proves he's still got it

The 38-year-old continues to defy his critics.

A new angle of Cristiano Ronaldo's incredible goal for Al Nassr has emerged online which proves he is far from finished yet.

Ronaldo scored a brace during Al Nassr's enthralling 4-3 win over Al Ahli SC on Friday evening, as he continues to defy his critics.

The Portuguese superstar broke the deadlock inside five minutes, latching onto Sadio Mane's pass and scoring past former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy with a low-driven finish, despite being blinded by a plume of yellow smoke.

But it was Ronaldo's second goal which really caught the eye. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner picked up the ball on the edge of his area, before sitting down former Juventus teammate Merih Demiral and finding the bottom corner with his weaker foot.

The No. 7 then sprinted to the corner flag to perform his iconic 'siuu' celebration in front of a jubilant All Nassr crowd. You can watch footage of the goal below.

The goal takes Ronaldo's tally to nine for the campaign and an incredible 732 club goals across his illustrious career.

Speaking after the game, the former Manchester United forward rubbished claims that he would retire soon, despite nearing the age of 40.

"They say Ronaldo is done… but it's not true," he told reporters on Friday.

"I will continue to play until my legs say: 'Cristiano, I'm done'. I still have a lot. I still love football and scoring goals.

"I still love winning. They say I'm done but I'm still proving that it's not true."

The result leaves Al Nassr fifth place in the Saudi Pro League table, just three points off top spot after seven games.
