Al Hilal star who riled up Cristiano Ronaldo previously involved in furious incident with Lionel Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for Al Nassr against Al Hilal after being riled up by Ali Al-Bulaihi.

The player who riled up Cristiano Ronaldo in Monday's Saudi Super Cup semi-final defeat to Al Hilal has previous with Lionel Messi and Heung-Min Son.

Al Nassr captain Ronaldo completely lost his head and was shown a red card in the 86th minute at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

Salem Aldawsari put Al Hilal ahead in the 61st minute before Malcom made it 2-0 shortly after.

Sadio Mane grabbed a late consolation for the ten men of Al Nassr, who will now be without Ronaldo after his straight red.

In an incident near the touchline, Ronaldo, with the ball in his hand, elbowed defender Ali Al-Bulaihi.

Ronaldo was sent off and furiously appeared to raise his fist at the referee before stopping himself.

The pair clashed back in December when Ali Al-Bulaihi squared up to him and taunted him at the final whistle even after being sent off himself.

The defender has quite the knack of getting into with high-profile players. He got into it with Spurs skipper Heung-Min Son, pushing him and pulling his hair in Saudi Arabia's Asian Cup game against South Korea.

Remarkably, Son was able to maintain his composure and not lose his cool.

The 34-year-old also went after Lionel Messi in an utterly bizarre moment during the 2022 World Cup.

After Saleh Alshehri's incredible equaliser for Saudi Arabia in the opener against Argentina, he went over to the Barcelona legend and slapped him on the back in an animated exchange.

After Saudi recorded a shock win against the eventual World Cup winners, Ali Al-Bulaihi revealed what he said to the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Asked by a reporter, Al-Bulaihi said: "I told him: you will not win, you will not win!”.

Ali Al-Bulaihi previously played for Al Amal, Al Nahda and Al Fateh before signing for Al Hilal in 2017.
