Cristiano Ronaldo has made his feelings clear on agreeing to outrageous swap deal which will see him leave Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has seemingly made his feelings clear on the reported swap deal which could see him leave Al Nassr.

Ronaldo has been plying his trade with Al Nassr since December 2022 following his explosive move away from Manchester United.

He's enjoyed an ultra-prolific spell in Saudi Arabia, scoring an impressive 74 goals in just 84 appearances across all competitions, with several other high-profile stars also making the switch from Europe to the Middle East.

But, according to reports, Ronaldo is wanted by Al Hilal, who are looking to terminate Neymar's contract.

And they are dreaming of replacing Neymar with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

However, the 39-year-old has already said that Al Nassr will 'probably' be his last club before he calls time on his legendary career.

"I don't know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr," he told Portuguese TV channel Now, last August.

"I'm happy at this club, I feel good in this country too. I'm happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue."

Ronaldo added: "When I leave the national team, I won't tell anyone in advance and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a very well thought-out one.

"Right now what I want is to be able to help the national team in their upcoming matches.

"We have the Nations League ahead of us and I would really like to play."

So, the Portuguese's career intentions don't seem to align with Al Hilal's pursuit of the superstar forward.

If Al Hilal do indeed release Neymar, then it appears they'll have to look elsewhere to replace the Brazilian.

But the PIF-backed team effectively have unlimited funds to bring in a new star should they axe the 32-year-old.
