Sadio Mane has reportedly 'privately admitted to friends' that he is 'missing' Liverpool

Sadio Mane is reportedly 'missing' Liverpool just a few a months after signing for Bayern Munich.

It's claimed that Mane has 'privately admitted to friends' that he is 'missing' the Anfield club following his summer move.

The 30-year-old called time on his Liverpool career, having enjoyed six trophy-laden seasons, winning the Premier League and the Champions League, among other silverware.

He scored an impressive 120 goals during his time at the club as he swapped England for Germany during the summer transfer window.

But it appears he's regretting leaving Liverpool as Football Insider claims he's missing the club and the Premier League.

Mane, though, has enjoyed an impressive start to his Bayern career, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

Despite his form on the pitch, Dietmar Hamann believes the Senegalese international is 'not integrated' at Bayern and 'doesn't look happy'.

The German said: "He is not integrated. I saw him at Liverpool FC, where he played through the middle. That is not his position. Now he’s taking that position at FC Bayern as well.

"He is at his best when he comes from the outside. He doesn’t look happy to me.

"Other players like Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala or, in defence, Lucas Hernandez, who is injured at the moment, are putting in outstanding performances."

Hamann added: "Nobody is talking about Mane at the moment. He seems isolated and hardly takes part in the game. FC Bayern has to get a grip on that.

"In my opinion, there are two players who absolutely must play and they are Sane and Musiala. These are the two best players at the moment.

"I think that Mane should also be put on the bench if he continues to play so little part in Bayern’s game. You could of course put Mane aside. He would be better off there."
