Sadio Mane has shown off his insane physique on Instagram and he is ready to take the Bundesliga by storm.

The Senegal international left Liverpool last week and penned a three-year deal with Bayern Munich.

Mane had one year remaining on his Reds contract and wanted a new challenge after eight years in the Premier League.

It is expected he will be the main man under Julian Nagelsmann, with Robert Lewandowski keen on a transfer to Barcelona. Recent images of Mane prove he will be ready to make that step up.

The 30-year-old is absolutely shredded already and he is not set to report for pre-season until July.

Bayern are going to have peak Mane when the season kicks off in August.

He will not be the first Bayern player to end up absolutely ripped after a stint in Bavaria.

Leon Goretzka was, quite frankly, scrawny when he signed from Schalke in 2018. Fast forward four years and he's ripped beyond belief.

Even loanees take their game to the next level. Philippe Coutinho was almost recognisable after spending a year at the Allianz Stadium.

Mane knew it was 'the right time' to leave Liverpool and cut a forlorn figure during their Carabao Cup and FA Cup trophy parade in May.

One he learned of Bayern's interest, he knew that is where he wanted to go.

"When my agent first told me about Bayern's interest, I was immediately excited," Mane admitted.

"I saw myself there right away... It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title.

"So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here; the agent told me that there were enquiries from other clubs. That's part of the business.

"But I got the feeling right away when Bayern presented their plan to me. I found myself in Bayern’s plan more than anyone else."

During six years at Liverpool, Mane scored 120 goals and won the Champions League, Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
