Piers Morgan has called on Arsenal to rescue Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and believes the Portuguese striker could win the Gunners the Premier League title this season.
Clips of a controversial interview between Piers Morgan and Ronaldo, which will be aired in full this week on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored, were published on Sunday and caused huge shockwaves across football.
In the footage, Ronaldo admitted he did not respect United manager Erik ten Hag after being forced to play a bit-part role this season and also accused the club of “betraying” him.
Morgan urges Arsenal to sign Ronaldo
Morgan has called on Arsenal, the club he supports, to sign Ronaldo in January and believes the Portuguese could be the difference between the Gunners winning the Premier League and missing out.
"Gabriel Jesus needs a scoring partner next to him, and Jesus’ heat map is so outrageous," Morgan told talkSPORT Breakfast.

"He [Gabriel Jesus] covers so much ground, actually what we [Arsenal] need is a fox in the box, a world class player with bags of experience, who has won everything, and to help us get over the line.
"I can think of somebody – Cristiano Ronaldo!
"I would take him for six-months in a heartbeat, and this idea of that Ronaldo can't suddenly play football, I'm sorry, it's laughable."
"Big step back"
However, Chris Sutton has warned Arsenal against signing Ronaldo, pointing to Mikel Arteta’s decision to allow Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang to leave the club in January rather than risk having him disrupt the dressing room.

“Arteta did well to kick out Aubameyang so signing Ronaldo would be a big step back,” tweeted the former Premier League striker

Morgan’s interview with Ronaldo will appear on the UK journalist’s TalkTV show 'Piers Morgan Uncensored'.
The 90-minute interview will be shown over two nights on November 16 and November 17.
