'I'd be embarrassed if Ronaldo or Fernandes tweeted what Gabriel posted after Brentford win'

'I'd be embarrassed if Ronaldo or Fernandes tweeted what Gabriel posted after Brentford win'

Gabriel slammed for using Ivan Toney's tweet against him following Arsenal's win over Brentford.

TalkSPORT host Andy Goldstein says he'd be 'embarrassed' if Manchester United beat Brentford and Cristiano Ronaldo or Bruno Fernandes tweeted what Gabriel posted following Arsenal's win last weekend.

Gabriel mocked Ivan Toney and used his tweet from last season against him following his side's 3-0 win.

He tweeted: "Nice kick about with the boys. @Brentford."

Of course, it's in reference to Toney's tweet after Brentford shocked the Gunners 2-0 on the opening day of last season.

Goldstein has slammed Gabriel's tweet, claiming he'd be 'embarrassed' if Ronaldo or Fernandes shared the same post.

"I’d be embarrassed!" He said.

"If we beat Brentford and [Cristiano] Ronaldo or Bruno [Fernandes] tweeted that, I’d be embarrassed!"

Toney himself mocked Gabriel for using his tweet against him, calling it 'cringey'.

Speaking at a pre-match conference ahead of England's Nations League match against Italy, he said: "I think once was funny, the second time was a bit cringey!

"Nah, listen, I bit my tongue. I wanted to reply, I wanted to nibble, but fair play they played very well.

"They are a different Arsenal side from what we played before. They are going very well so fair play to them. They are going well."
