Romeo Beckham has reportedly been training with Brentford's B-team as he looks to take the next step in his footballing career.

The 20-year-old is currently signed to Inter Miami - a Major League Soccer franchise co-owned by his father and Premier League legend David.

Per The Times, he's been at Brentford's training complex and even followed several of the Premier League outfit's players on social media.

It's currently unknown how long he'll be using the Bees' facilities.

Beckham is a winger and made his professional debut for Inter Miami II in September 2021 alongside Harvey Neville, the son of his father's former Manchester United and England teammate Phil Neville.

The duo featured in a pre-season friendly defeat to Barcelona, which drew controversy after Neville called it the 'biggest game' in the club's history.

Beckham and his brothers, Brooklyn and Cruz, were on the books at Arsenal in 2014 before being released.

That saw Romeo step away from the game for a few years, something which initially disappointed his father.

He attempted to become a tennis player and even trained with three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray.

Beckham decided to return to football in 2020, which has proven to be a success so far.

This year, he's scored two goals in 26 appearances for Inter Miami II, with his first coming from a free-kick.

Sportswear giant Puma signed Beckham to a lucrative contract late last year, making him the first of Beckham Sr's four children to become a millionaire.

When asked about his playing style in an interview, the youngster replied: "I've always been an attacking player and I'm pretty quick so I think I’m at my best when playing wide and getting crosses in. I love taking set pieces too, which I've been practising a lot in the off-season.

"I’m pretty quiet on the pitch and like my football to do the talking really."
