Isco Had A Salty Response To Questions About Missing Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid's fortunes have taken a nosedive without Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco clearly isn't happy with his decision to leave.

Cristiano Ronaldo is clearly a big loss to Real Madrid, considering their current form, but Isco clearly doesn't want to admit that the Champions League winners miss the Juventus forward.

Real Madrid went 481 minutes without scoring a goal. On Saturday afternoon Marcelo finally broke the barren run of the Champions League holders that broke an unwanted record for them, although they still lost to Levante.

In five games over the Champions League and La Liga Julen Lopetegui's side haven't managed to win a game with four of those results being losses as Lopetegui's future has come under huge pressure.

Los Blancos had a weird summer as they lost Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane and replaced them with Mariano Diaz and the relatively inexperienced Lopetegui.

The results to date clearly suggest they're missing the pair, especially as Ronaldo has bagged five goals in his last seven for Juventus, making a mockery of their decision to not spend big to replace the five time Ballon d'Or winner.

However current Real midfielder Isco clearly didn't want to admit the side miss their record goalscorer, taking a shot at him instead. In a pre match press conference today Isco was asked about the club missing Ronaldo and said:

"People have been talking about that all season. We can't be talking about someone who isn't here. I miss [Gareth] Bale and [Dani] Carvajal when they are not with us. There are plenty of solutions to score goals.

"We can't be crying over someone who didn't want to be here."

There's a lovely little dig at Ronaldo about no longer wanting to be at the Bernabeu, which did come as a surprise considering he first said it straight after the third Champions League win in a row.

It is a decision that has so far looked like perfect timing from Ronaldo with Real struggling and Juventus having their best start to a season.

Real might well be missing Ronaldo but they need their other attacking players to step up in his place. Karim Benzema has four goals and Gareth Bale has three but Isco and Asensio are the only other to have bagged and are on one each.

How will Los Blancos fill the massive hole made by Ronaldo's loss?
