EA Sports has dropped the final batch of ratings for FIFA 19, but there's an even more interesting surprise that fans of the series have started to notice.
Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have the same overall rating for the first time ever in FIFA history.
Usually, EA has rated either Ronaldo or Messi with the highest overall depending on who is that year's cover star for FIFA.
Considering that the Portuguese forward is on co-cover duties with Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar for FIFA 19, EA has put the two five-time Ballon d'Or winners at 94 ratings each.
However, that's not even the best part of the announcement.
For the hardcore Ultimate Team fans, they can create their dream team featuring Ronaldo and Messi as combined strikers for the first time at launch.
Of course, previous FIFA titles had different in-form cards and position changes eventually introduced over the year, but Ronaldo's FIFA 19 Ultimate Team card has been made a ST for Juventus.

Meanwhile, Messi's CF position can be easily changed with a formation style.
FIFA 19 might not be out right now, but here's one of the most menacing teams featuring the duo (thanks to Futhead's squad builder).
Oh, and we've used Gareth Southgate's formation, which will debut in the upcoming title, to show off both players with some legends:
Now that's one spicy Ultimate Team we wouldn't want to compete against.
And let's be honest, it won't be long before Ronaldo and Messi are eventually in FIFA as icons themselves.
