Richarlison bumped into Jamie Carragher after the full-time whistle, they are friends now

The Brazilian forward was accused of 'winding people up' by the former Liverpool defender during the match.

Jamie Carragher and Richarlison have shared some memorable 'Twitter beef' in the past few months, but the pair were all smiles after Spurs' 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

Back in May, after receiving criticism from the Sky Sports pundit, former Everton forward Richarlison took to Twitter after the Toffees guaranteed their Premier League status for another season with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.

He wrote: "@Carra23 wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don't respect you." – a tweet that actually earned praise from the former Liverpool centre-back.

I actually quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I’m sure I would’ve called pundits out quite a lot!! https://t.co/skfIpPCQhQ

Carragher had previously accused Richarlison of play-acting in a Merseyside derby and after the Brazilian went down theatrically against newly promoted Nottingham Forest on Sunday, the 44-year-old kept relatively quiet.

“Ah honestly. I’m not getting in trouble with the Tottenham fans as well as the Everton fans," Carragher said.

“He looked like he had been caught between his legs and we know it can be painful but it was so long until he went down. Oh what am I going to do with him?”

Then, in the latter stages of the Premier League clash, Richarlison was hacked down by Brennan Johnson after performing some keepy-uppies late on.

"What’s he doing?" the Liverpool legend said. “He’s taken the game away from Nottingham Forest, the game’s won. He just winds people up that lad, he winds me up.

“You’re not condoning that, big Premier League game, passions are high and then someone starts taking the mick.”

Richarlison is the absolute definition of a footballer who is adored by his own supporters and despised by a huge chunk of everyone else.

I can’t help but respect his insatiable appetite for boiling piss. The game needs more shithouses.

After the full-time whistle, Carragher then bumped into Richarlison, who assisted Harry Kane's second goal of the game with a wonderful outside-of-the-boot pass.

Sky Sports presenter David Jones made viewers aware that the pair have shared a so-called "long-standing conversation" with each other on social media but as you can see, they are "all friends now".

Carragher responded by saying: "As he goes away, obviously he went down hurt in the game... so I was just checking if he was okay.

"To be fair, I'm just glad he never blanked me!" - a reference to last week's Cristiano Ronaldo incident at Old Trafford ahead of Manchester United's win against Liverpool.
