One of the main takeaways from last nights Champions League semi-final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid was the spat between Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres.

Atletico beat Real 2-1 at the Vicente Calderon, though it was the defending Champions League holders who ultimately secured a spot in the showpiece in Cardiff, Wales, thanks to a 4-2 aggregate victory over the two legs against their city rivals.

Zinedine Zidane's charges are looking to write themselves into the history books by becoming the first side to defend the Champions League title when they play Juventus on June 3rd.

The hosts raced to a 2-0 lead courtesy of Saul Niguez and Antoine Griezmann after just 16 minutes, stunning the current European champions, until Isco struck just before half time to effectively kill the tie.

And while Ronaldo had a quiet game to his high standards, he was involved in a heated exchange with his opposite number Torres. The ex-Liverpool player shoved Ronaldo before getting into his face.

Following the game, Spanish outlet Marca have revealed what was said to each other.

Torres supposedly said to Ronaldo, "what's wrong with you?"

Ronaldo responded by laughing of his comment, before Torres hollered, "Clown, son of a bitch!"

The four time Ballon d'Or winner replied with, "Go home (eliminated) idiot."

BURN.

Ronaldo, who bagged a hat-trick in the first leg, took to Instagram to celebrate securing their passage to the final.
