It looks like Ander Herrera is on his way out of Old Trafford at the end of the season. The Spaniard's contract is set to expire in the coming months, and reports believe he will join Paris Saint Germain in the summer.
Herrera, who has made 187 appearances for Manchester United since joining in 2014, has been a constant in United's starting XI in recent months.
But it looks like it hasn't taken long for United to identify a replacement for the Spaniard.
According to The Evening Standard, the club have identified Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye as a potential replacement for the 29-year-old.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have added Gueye to his list of summer targets after an impressive season under Marco Silva, and you can't blame him. He has been a constant in Everton's midfield, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
Silva himself has since spoken about the transfer rumours:
"It's new to me. No concerns about that. All the speculation is in the media and will come in the next few days or weeks." he said.
"It's something natural. I'm not here to answer about the possible rumours.'

Everton rejected a reported £21.5 million bid from PSG in the January transfer window but it is believed that the player could be available for less than £30 million.
Silva expressed the importance of Gueye to his squad earlier this year:
"My opinion is the same as the club's, and we rejected the offer," Silva said via BBC.
"He is one player we do not think to lose in this market. Of course, after some moments it can become a matter of money. From my point of view he is a really important player for us."
