Tottenham Fans Are Loving What This Ball-Boy Did During Watford Match

Surgeons, firefighters and now ball-boys. These are the professions going the extra mile for us - or our three points.

First there was the brave Swansea ball-boy put his body on the line against Chelsea's Eden Hazard to protect his team's two goal advantage.



And now one young Tottenham legend (not to Watford fans, sorry) has put his ball-boy oath into practice in the final minutes of a tight game.



In all seriousness, it's not nice to be on the receiving end of such actions; even more so if your team were one goal up for a large part of the match.

It was a huge win for Spurs who are grasping on to their top-four position with a skeleton squad.

But Harry Kane wasn't needed this time. Fernando Llorente headed home the winner late-one, after Hueng-Min Son levelled the tie with 10-minutes to go.

It wasn't to be for Watford, despite Craig Cathcart putting his team ahead.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino didn't have any words to say about his team's ball-boy hero, but he did say this.

"I think we fully deserved the victory," he said via BBC Sport.

"It arrived late, but we kept pushing. It was a fantastic second-half performance.

"It's fantastic to win again. After a difficult week, it's so important to smile."
