Liverpool fans weren't happy with the chant sang by the visiting Newcastle United fans.

The 'Toon army' traveled to Anfield in hope of a surprise victory to help their bid to stay in England's top flight.

While they kept the hosts fairly quiet in the first half, Mohamed Salah - who else?! - eventually netted to open the scoring.

And the Egyptian King's strike wasn't the only talking point from the first half.

Newcastle fans began to sing about Steven Gerrard's infamous slip against Chelsea during the 2013/14 campaign, which led to Demba Ba scoring.

Needless to say, Liverpool Twitter was furious:
