Another day, another goalless Premier League display from Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman is now 14 league games without a goal and Arsenal fans were, as usual, incredibly vocal on social media about it, none moreso than Piers Morgan.
Siem De Jong (17 games) and Bafetimbi Gomis (15 games) are the only strikers enduring lengthier goalless runs than Giroud in the Premier League and at least they've got the excuse of plying their trade for clubs who have been battling relegation for most of the season. Giroud on the other hand has had the luxury of playing alongside the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, two of the league's most creative players. Yet his goal return has been non existent since 13th January, when he found the net twice in a dramatic 3-3 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
And it was anti-Wenger crusader Piers Morgan who voiced his opinion loudest, once more slating the goal shy Frenchman for another tepid display.
