Manchester United have revealed exactly how much they have received for selling Adnan Januzaj to Real Sociedad last summer - and supporters can't believe how much they've managed to rake in.

The club's CEO Ed Woodward has revealed the club's quarterly accounts, which covers July to September of this year, in a conference call with some high-profile investors, with the Old Trafford side announcing a revenue of £141 million - which works out as a rise of 17%.

Woodward also revealed the club's current away kit is the fastest-selling in the club's long history but the figures detailed on Januzaj are probably what caused the most surprise amongst supporters.

The Belgian burst onto the scene in the first-team under David Moyes in 2013/14, scoring two goals on his first ever start against Sunderland in a 2-1 win. He made a total of 35 appearances that season and was nominated for the BBC Young Sports Personality Of The Year award.

Januzaj looked set for a lengthy stint at Old Trafford, especially when he took on the No.11 shirt vacated by former left-footed wing Wizard Ryan Giggs, but he was never a regular under Louis van Gaal or Jose Mourinho and following two unsuccessful loan stints with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, was sold permanently to Real Sociedad, with the 22-year old penning a five-year deal.

But incredibly, as per Woodward on the call, United picked up £17.3 million through the sale of Januzaj - something that United fans couldn't believe.

Since moving to La Real, Januzaj has played 10 games, scoring once.
