The team news for the Merseyside derby has just come in, and literally no-one can understand the team that Jurgen Klopp has put out.
The Reds go into the game full of confidence after hitting seven past Spartak Moscow in midweek, but two of their fabulous foursome have been benched today, with Brazilian pair Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino named as subs.
What's more, summer Dominic Solanke, who has largely been on the fringes this term, is named as a starter up top, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also in.

Granted, both Coutinho and Firmino played in mid-week, but the decision to not play the two dangerman in a derby, especially when one has just scored a hat-trick, has baffled many Kopites on Twitter. Here's some of the many reactions:
