I wasn't convinced the record of 11 goals in a Champions League record would ever be beaten but that's exactly what Borussia Dortmund and Legia Warsaw did tonight.
Warsaw went ahead after 16 minutes and from there the whole game just went crazy. Dortmund were 3-1 up after 21 minutes and they never looked back from there despite Warsaw managing to score another three goals.
Dortmund were 5-2 up at half time and the Bundesliga team shared another five goals with their opposition in the second 45 minutes. Marco Reus' injury time goal completed his hat-trick, made it 8-4 and broke the Champions League record of goals scored in a game. Incredible scenes.
